Dr. Kiran Puttappa
MBBS, FRACGP, PG Dip Diabetes (Cardiff)

Dr Kiran Puttappa joined the practice in 2018. He moved to U.K in 2001 and after gaining clinical experience, he moved to Australia in 2003. He has a vast clinical experience as a medical registrar in various public hospitals in Perth and the Gold Coast and he has a special interest in complicated general medicine cases and Diabetes. He holds FRACGP and Post Grad Dip in Diabetes from Cardiff. He also served as board member of RACGP (WA Faculty) from 2009-2013. He is currently a senior examiner to RACGP.

Dr. Kamini Patel
MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG

Dr Kamini Patel is an enthusiastic and highly experienced GP Obstetrician with special interest in all aspect of women’s health (Mirena, Implanon, menopause, antenatal and postnatal care) and weight management. Dr Patel has completed double post graduate degrees, DRANZCOG (Diploma in Obstetric) and FRACGP (Family Physician) in Australia, reflecting her strong clinical foundation in reproductive and maternity care. She has been practicing medicine since 2005 for more than 20 years which includes extensive training in both general medicine and women’s health.

Dr Patel likes to practice in a holistic way and enjoys empowering patients with knowledge about their health and endeavors to include her patients in decision making. Outside of medicine, Dr Patel enjoys spending time with her family and staying active. She values balance in all areas of life and brings that philosophy into her practice, encouraging patients to care for both their physical and mental wellbeing.

  • Antenatal care till 36 weeks of pregnancy & postnatal care
  • Menstrual problems (painful, heavy, or irregular periods) & Pelvic pain

In addition to English, Dr. Patel is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati, enabling her to provide inclusive and culturally aware care to a diverse patient community.

Dr. Vinay Verma
MBBS, DCH, FRACGP

Dr Vinay Verma is a dedicated and passionate GP who believes in delivering holistic, patient centered care to individuals from all backgrounds. He completed his MBBS in India before moving to Australia in 2011, where he gained valuable experience working as a medical registrar at both Royal Perth Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus.

With a particular interest in paediatrics, Dr Verma went on to complete the Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney in 2016. He achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018 and has been a valued part of the Newpark Medical Centre team since 2019. Dr Verma’s clinical interests include paediatrics, general medicine, chronic disease management, men’s health, mental health, preventative care and travel medicine. He is known for his thorough approach and strong advocacy for long-term health outcomes.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr Verma is able to connect with a diverse patient base and takes pride in offering culturally sensitive care. Outside of work, Dr Verma maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys playing badminton and cricket, with a strong passion for sport as part of his own wellbeing.

Dr. Theingi Oo
MBBS, FRACGP, DCH

Dr Theingi Oo joined Newpark Medical Centre in 2019, bringing with her a broad range of experience gained across various regions of Australia. Dr Oo completed her MBBS in Myanmar in 2008 and moved to Australia in 2013, where she spent five years in the Northern Territory, working as a resident medical officer at Alice Springs Hospital and as a GP registrar in both Darwin and Katherine.

In 2019, Dr Oo achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She also holds a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney, reflecting her strong interest in paediatrics. Her clinical interests include women’s health, child and adolescent health, and the management of chronic disease. She is also trained in mental health care, cervical screening, minor skin procedures, and Implanon insertion and removal.

Dr Oo is a motivated and compassionate GP who believes in providing thorough, high-quality care with a strong emphasis on continuity and patient trust. She is known for her calm, thoughtful approach and her dedication to supporting patients through all stages of life.

In addition to English, Dr Oo is fluent in Burmese, allowing her to communicate effectively with a broader patient community and offer culturally sensitive care.

Dr Oo is currently consulting one day per week, on Wednesdays. At this time, she is not accepting new patients and is focusing on the ongoing care of her existing patients.

Dr. Ranjita Bains
MBBS, FRACGP, MS (Obs & Gynae)

With a deep-rooted foundation in MBBS and MS (Obs & Gynae), followed by her FRACGP and Advanced DRANZCOG, Dr Ranjita Bains uniquely bridges the gap between expert general practice and specialist obstetric care. A Gold Medal recipient for her academic and clinical rigour, she is dedicated to the full spectrum of women’s health from adolescent medicine and preconception planning to high-risk antenatal care and post-reproductive health.

Dr Maud-Annie Foley
MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Maud-Annie Foley is a friendly and experienced GP who moved to Perth in March 2020, bringing with her a strong foundation in patient-centered care after completing her medical training and General Practice fellowship in Ireland. She is known for her attentive nature, thoughtful clinical approach, and commitment to supporting her patient’s wellbeing across all stages of life.

Dr Foley enjoys the variety that general practice offers and has particular interests in women’s health, mental health, and sports medicine. Whether managing long term health conditions, supporting patients through emotional challenges, or assisting with injury prevention and recovery, Dr Foley takes the time to listen and tailor her care for each individual.

Her warm, approachable manner helps patients feel at ease, making her a trusted choice for those seeking a GP who is both professional and genuinely easy to talk to.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Foley is passionate about staying active. She plays Gaelic football, enjoys running, and believes strongly in the connection between physical movement and mental health.

Dr. Nisar Ahmed
MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Nisar Ahmed is a dedicated and approachable GP with a strong clinical background and over 10 years of experience working as a Specialist General Practitioner. He completed his medical degree at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, graduating in 2010, and has developed a broad, evidence-based approach to patient care.

Dr Ahmed’s clinical interests include diabetes care, chronic disease management, sports injuries, mental health, men’s health, women’s health and paediatrics. He also has a strong interest in skin conditions and performs minor surgical procedures such as excisions and biopsies for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

He is committed to delivering high quality, personalized care, with a focus on making patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their health journey.

In addition to English, Dr Ahmed is fluent in Bengali, Punjabi and Urdu, allowing him to provide culturally inclusive care to a wide range of patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr Ahmed is an avid football and cricket fan, enjoys staying active in his downtime, spending time with his family and never says no to a good cup of coffee.

Dr. Anjali Singh
MBBS

Dr Anjali Singh is a compassionate and thorough General Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation and experience across both hospital and primary care settings. She completed her medical degree in India, where she worked as an Anaesthetist before transitioning to general practice. Since moving to Australia, Dr Singh has worked in major Perth hospitals including King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH).

Dr Singh’s clinical interests include women’s health, child health, preventive medicine, mental health, and chronic disease management. She has completed a Certificate in Women’s Health and is accredited for Implanon insertion.

Known for her attentive and holistic approach, Dr Singh is focused on building strong, respectful relationships with her patients and providing high quality, individualized care.

In addition to English, Dr Singh speaks fluent Hindi, enabling her to provide culturally inclusive care to a diverse patient population. Outside of medicine, Dr Singh enjoys painting, arts and crafts, cooking, and spending quality time with her family
